900-acre Site Development, Sanctuary at Costa Grande, Calhoun County, Texas (2007-2012)
To support this development project, Crouch Environmental Services performed a variety of biological resource studies, including a wetland delineation, habitat assessment, and presence/absence survey for federal and state listed species.
3,000-Acre Master Planned Residential Subdivision, Montgomery County, Texas
The project site, an existing 3,000-acre residential subdivision, is located between Interstate Highway 45 and State Highway 59 in southern Montgomery County, Texas.
183-Acre Residential Development and Marina on Matagorda Bay, Calhoun County, Texas
This development is a 183-acre site located on the west side of Matagorda Bay in Calhoun County, Texas. The intent of the project was to provide a bayside multi-use community with direct water access to Matagorda Bay and the Gulf of Mexico and to provide docking facilities and associated marine structures.
Environmental Assessment and Public Communication for the Addicks and Barker Dam Safety Program, US Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District, Texas
Addicks and Barker Dams are two 11-mile-long earthen dams creating 16,000 acres of reservoir in the heavily populated western region of Harris County. The outlet structures at Addicks and Barker Dams, which feed into Buffalo Bayou, have been deemed to be at high risk of failure due to structural integrity and their associated flooding risk to the region.
Luce Bayou Interbasin Transfer Project, Coastal Water Authority (AECOM)
The Luce Bayou Interbasin Transfer project is a 23-mile conveyance project designed to transfer surface water from the Trinity River in Liberty County, Texas, to Lake Houston in Harris County, Texas.
The Brownwood Marsh Restoration Project/The Baytown Nature Center – Multiple Mitigation Projects
The Brownwood Marsh Restoration project was originally required as mitigation for impacts to wetlands by the French Limited Superfund Site. Twenty-eight potential sites were evaluated between the Lake Houston Dam and Galveston Bay.
Greens Bayou Wetland Mitigation Bank Site Development Plan, Harris County Flood Control District
In coordination with the Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD), Crouch Environmental Services, Inc. prepared a master Site Development Plan (SDP) for improvements and enhancements to 669 acres of the Greens Bayou Wetland Mitigation Bank (GBWMB), a 1,450 acre mitigation bank and wildlife refuge located in northeastern Harris County, Texas.

The Sanctuary at Costa Grande is located on the west side of Matagorda Bay south of State Highway 185 between Seadrift and Port O’Connor, Texas.
